Hyderabad, May 2 -- Telangana Director General of Police Dr Jitender has directed senior police officials to ensure tight and comprehensive security arrangements for the prestigious Miss World pageant events being hosted by the Telangana state government.
In a special meeting held at the DGP office on Friday, Dr Jitender reviewed the security preparedness with top police officers.
He emphasised that the event, being organised under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, presents a major opportunity to boost Telangana's global brand image.
The Chief Minister has stressed the importance of ensuring foolproof security for all aspects of the event.
