New Delhi, July 31 -- Senior IPS officer SBK Singh has been entrusted with the additional charge of Commissioner of Police, Delhi, according to an official order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs today. Singh will assume the additional responsibility from August 1.
A 1988-batch officer from the AGMUT cadre, Singh is currently serving as the Director General of Home Guards, Delhi. With the approval of the competent authority, he will hold the additional charge of Delhi Police Commissioner until further orders.
