Imphal, Dec. 3 -- In a significant visit underscoring operational oversight and troop welfare, Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, Director General of Assam Rifles, arrived at a forward Assam Rifles post in Tengnoupal district, Manipur today.
The visit was aimed at reviewing the prevailing security situation, assessing administrative preparedness and interacting with the personnel deployed in this strategically vital and remote location along the Indo-Myanmar border.
