Kakinada, July 24 -- Devotees from various parts of the city and surrounding villages thronged the temple of Goddess Annapurna in Ramaraopeta area here today to have the darshan of the Goddess decorated in Sakambari avatar.
Today being the last day of Ashadam and Amavasya is considered most auspicious and devotees waited at the temple forming beelines since early morning to have the darshan of Sakambari.
Temple executive officer Srinivas, chief priest Suribabu said that with the generous contribution of devotees the Goddess and the entire temple was decorated with one tonne of vegetables and fruits.
