New Delhi, Dec. 8 -- In a step towards improving last-mile connectivity, ensuring safer and more reliable transport options in South Delhi, the state government has approved the extension of DEVi bus route 7701A from its existing terminal at South Asian University to AIIMS-CAPFIMS (Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences), Maidan Garhi.
The decision follows a request from the Chief of AIIMS-CAPFIMS, Maidan Garhi, who highlighted the need for reliable connectivity between the Delhi Metro network and the institute to address staff safety concerns, particularly during early morning and evening hours.
