Kolhapur, Aug. 17 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today handed over symbolic keys to residents of a new police housing complex here, constructed by the State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation, Mumbai.
Named 'Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Police Complex,' the residential building is located at Juna Budhwar Peth.
During the inauguration, Fadnavis inspected the premises and congratulated the architects and contractors for their work.
In his introductory remarks, Superintendent of Police Yogesh Kumar Gupta said the government had sanctioned about Rs 34.62 crore for the construction of 168 fully-equipped residences for police personnel in the district. UNI SSS AKT SSP
