New Delhi, March 8 -- Devender Yadav, president of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC), on Sunday appealed to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to immediately release pending pension dues of retired employees of the Delhi Financial Corporation (DFC) and restore their medical scheme.

In a statement, Yadav said it was distressing that a financially viable institution like DFC was reportedly being shut down while pension payments to retirees had been stopped since December 2025.

He claimed the corporation has cash and bank deposits of over Rs 53 crore and fixed assets worth more than Rs 193 crore, yet pensioners have not received their dues.
