New Delhi, March 25 -- The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) on Wednesday criticised on both the Centre and the BJP-led Delhi government, alleging that the national capital has been left "financially stranded" due to lack of central support.

DPCC president Devender Yadav claimed that the government led by Narendra Modi has forced Delhi to depend heavily on market borrowings for development funds.

He alleged that no substantial financial assistance was extended either in the previous fiscal or in the 2026-27 budget presented by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
