Lucknow, May 2 -- To ensure transparency and on-ground accountability in urban development works, the Urban Development Department of Uttar Pradesh has announced that special field visits will be conducted to assess the real-time progress of various infrastructure projects.
The decision was taken during a review meeting of the Mukhyamantri Nagar Srijan Yojana. In line with the directive of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who emphasised that project evaluations must go beyond paperwork, the department will now make field-based monitoring mandatory.
