Shillong, Aug. 25 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today said that development cannot be simply measured by a single number or only by large infrastructural projects because it is a multi-faceted aspect that must be considered from various perspectives.
"Development is an aspect that must be seen from multiple fronts when GDP and GSPD is important it is incomplete if we fail to connect with farmers, rural entrepreneurs, women, and youth, and to address interconnected social issues like health, education, rural tourism, and agriculture," he said while inaugurating the Youth Mela organised by Chief Minister's Youth Centre (CMYC) at All Saints' Hall, Shillong.
