Lucknow, Nov. 13 -- Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi today said the goal of establishing Uttar Pradesh as a fully developed state by 2047 cannot be achieved without the active participation of citizens and the empowerment of agricultural sector.

Speaking to reporters the Minister said a large-scale public dialogue and brainstorming programme will be organised at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on November 17 in which about 300 agriculture experts, scientists, progressive farmers and officials will participate. "The Agriculture Department will prepare the state's agricultural vision document in consultation with the NITI Aayog," he said.
