Yadgir , Oct. 23 -- Former Prime minister and JD (S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda on Wednesday joined the dharna in front of Yadgir DC office here along with hundreds of JD (S) workers protesting against the 'vendetta politics' of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in the state.
Addressing the mediapersons, Mr Gowda said that Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa believed that he was the only leader in Lingayat community and did not allow to grow any Lingayat leaders in the state and indulging in Vendetta politics in Karnataka .
The protest is over alleged police excesses during the interrogation of JDS workers over waving black flags and stopping Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa's vehicle about a week ago.
