Hyderabad, Sept. 26 -- Despite heavy rainfall and weather warnings, more than 4,000 visitors flocked to the CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) today for its annual Open Day, held in conjunction with the CSIR Foundation Day.

This marks a tradition spanning nearly 40 years, since CCMB established its own campus, when the institute opens its doors to the public to showcase cutting-edge research and interact with scientists.

The Open Day featured exhibits spanning infectious, genetic, and lifestyle diseases, highlighting both medical relevance and detailed cellular and molecular studies.
