Prayagraj, Feb. 20 -- Renowned scientist Padma Shri Dr Ajay Kumar Sonkar has claimed that despite more than 57 crore devotees taking a holy dip during the Maha Kumbh there has been no impact on the purity of the Ganga water.
Dr Sonkar has proved in his laboratory that the Ganga water is not only suitable for bathing, but is as pure as alkaline water. The country's top scientist has proved those who question the purity of the Ganga river water as liars in his laboratory.
He has also given an open challenge to take the Ganga water in front of him and test it in the lab. He said that whoever has even the slightest doubt should take the Ganga water in front of him and get satisfied after testing it in the lab.
