New Delhi, Nov. 13 -- In a bid to curb the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, and chikungunya, Delhi Deputy Mayor Jaibhagwan Yadav launched a large-scale pesticide spraying campaign using drone technology along the Yamuna River near Yamuna Bank.
The initiative, undertaken by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), aims to target mosquito breeding in hard-to-reach and waterlogged areas along the river.
Shahdara South Zone Chairman Ram Kishore Sharma, Vice Chairman Raju Sachdeva, and senior officers and staff of the Public Health Department were present at the launch event.
