Mumbai, Sept. 10 -- Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today spoke on the phone with some of the tourists from Maharashtra who are stranded in Nepal amid the violence there, and reassured them that the state government is making every effort to bring them back safely.
Around 150 tourists from the state are stranded in Nepal, and Mr. Shinde spoke with some of them tonight.
