Munger, Oct. 17 -- Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary along with several other candidates today filed their nomination papers in Munger for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

Choudhary submitted his nomination from the Tarapur Assembly constituency.

Speaking to media persons on the occasion, he said that he had got several development projects sanctioned from the government for Tarapur and adjoining areas, which have accelerated the pace of economic growth in Munger and Bhagalpur districts.

He added that the entire Bhagalpur region is being developed as an industrial zone, with projects worth around Rs 36,000 crore already approved, and many more likely to receive clearance soon. "This election is a battle between destruction and...
