Dharamshala, Jan. 7 -- Deputy Chief Whip of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, Kewal Singh Pathania, on Wednesday paid a formal courtesy call on Abdul Rahim Rather, Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, in Jammu.
During the meeting, Pathania shared detailed information about the successful implementation of the paperless e-Vidhan system in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly.
He explained that e-Vidhan is a modern digital platform through which all legislative proceedings are conducted in a completely paperless manner. Under this system, questions, call attention notices, bills, amendments, agendas, proceedings and other parliamentary documents are made available to members through tablets or other digital devices.
