Lucknow, Sept. 25 -- The BJP today appointed Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya as party co-in-charge for the Bihar Assembly elections, amid intensifying political activity in the run-up to the Assembly polls in the eastern state.

A statement issued by the BJP's National General Secretary Arun Singh said the party has appointed union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as the election in-charge, and union Water Power Minister C.R. Patil as co-in-charge.
