New Delhi, June 4 -- As part of the Government's flagship Swatch Bharat Mission, the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Union Ministry of Science and Technology observed a fortnight-long cleanliness campaign beginning May 1 at its Delhi-based headquarters and institutions across the country.
Secretary, DBT led the initiative with a pledge taking ceremony which was participated by the department officials while setting the tone for the activities that followed over the fortnight.
A string of Swachhata drives were conducted and 188 activities were planned and completed by the DBT and its institutions and PSUs across the States, said a statement from the Ministry.
