Amaravati, Oct. 3 -- The depression over interior Odisha moved north-northwestwards at a speed of 15 kmph in the past six hours and lay centred at 0830 hours today near latitude 20.7degN and longitude 83.7degE.
It was positioned about 60 km west-northwest of Phulbani, 100 km north-northeast of Bhawanipatna, and 90 km south-southwest of Sambalpur, the Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
According to the daily weather report, the system is likely to continue moving north-northwest across interior Odisha before shifting northwards across north Chhattisgarh and gradually weakening into a well-marked low pressure area within the next 24 hours.
