Amaravati, Aug. 19 -- The depression over south coastal Odisha moved west-northwestwards at a speed of 11 kmph during the past six hours and lay centred at 0830 hours today over south interior Odisha, near latitude 19.8degN and longitude 84.0degE.
It was positioned about 50 km north-northwest of Daringabadi, 90 km east of Bhawanipatna, and 90 km southeast of Titlagarh in Odisha.
According to the Meteorological Centre, the system is likely to continue moving west-northwestwards across south Odisha and south Chhattisgarh and weaken into a well-marked low-pressure area during the next 12 hours.
