Deoria, Oct. 24 -- A shocking incident unfolded in the Khukhundu police station area of Deoria district today, when a father allegedly ended his life following the rape of his six-year-old daughter by his friend. Police have confirmed that an investigation into the matter is underway.
According to Station House Officer (SHO) Dinesh Kumar Mishra, the accused is a friend and co-worker of the victim's father. On the night of October 21, a serious incident took place at the child's home, when the father's friend allegedly raped the 6-year-old girl.
