Hyderabad, Oct. 11 -- District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan today directed officials from multiple departments to work in close coordination to prevent cash, liquor, narcotics, and freebies in the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency bye-election.
Chairing a District Intelligence and Expenditure Monitoring Committee (DIEMC) meeting at the GHMC Head Office, Karnan emphasised proactive surveillance, intelligence sharing, and strict monitoring of suspicious financial transactions and movement of valuables.
He instructed authorities to identify Expenditure Sensitive Pockets (ESPs) and ensure 24x7 vigilance through Flying Squads, static teams, and video surveillance.
