New Delhi, Dec. 20 -- As dense fog covered the national capital and several northern cities on Saturday morning, the reduced visibility resulted in cancellations of at least 129 flights at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The Centre government has issued clear instructions to air carriers to inform passengers concerned about the actual status of the flights.
The government has also asked the airlines to ensure the comfort of the passengers in case of flight delays.
Around 66 arrivals and 63 departures were cancelled for the day, according to information available so far.
