Jodhpur, Feb. 25 -- Various organizations from Western Rajasthan held a peaceful demonstration near the Central Jail here on Wednesday demanding the immediate release of environmental activist and innovator Sonam Wangchuk.
The demonstration spearheaded by the "Rajasthan Sonam Wangchuk Release Forum" was held near the main gate of the Central Jail here this afternoon. The protesters sat on a peaceful dharna to press their demand.
Independent Gandhian activist Himanshu Kumar, and PUCL Chief Kavita Srivastava also joined the dharna.
