Bhopal, April 27 -- Denouncing demonetisation as a scam, Rajya Sabha Member and erstwhile central minister Anand Sharma averred on Saturday that it shall be subjected to an inquiry after a change of guard at the Centre.
"I assume complete responsibility for my statement. Following the investigation, Premier Narendra Modi and other individuals' accountability shall be fixed. More than 99 per cent of the demonetised currency reached banks. It is universally known as to which persons received new notes in tremendous quantity; they were not commoners who queued up.
