New Delhi, Jan. 12 -- : An 18-year-old delivery worker for a quick-commerce platform was allegedly restrained and assaulted by a store owner in Old Kondli after he sprayed himself with a perfume kept for sale in the shop, Delhi Police said on Monday.
The police registered a case and initiated legal action after being informed about the incident. The delivery worker has been identified as Risha Kumar, a resident of Old Kondli.
Preliminary investigations indicate that an altercation occurred between Kumar and the store owner after the teenager reportedly sprayed himself with perfume from the shop. The store owner noticed the act and began scolding him, which escalated into a heated argument.
