Chennai, March 22 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin
on Saturday said the proposed delimitation exercise based on current population
was BJP's ploy to implement it ulterior motives and it should not be acceptable.
In his address at the first Joint Action Committee (JAC) meeting in which Chief
Ministers of three states, a Deputy Chief Minister and leaders of more than
20 political parties took part, Mr Stalin said the BJP has always been a party
that deprives states and state rights.
"They want to implement their ulterior motives in the delimitation plan. No state
should allow this. Realising this threat, Tamil Nadu is working with unprecedented
unity", he said.
