New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- Two persons were arrested in connection with the brutal murder of a transgender person in New Delhi's Madhu Vihar area, within 12 hours of the crime, police said today.
Police said the incident occurred yesterday near the Telco T-point, where the victim was stabbed to death in a secluded area along a drain. An FIR under Section 103(1) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, was registered at Madhu Vihar Police Station the same day.
The accused has been identified as Rehan alia Ikka (19), a resident of Ghazipur village, and Md Sarver (20), hailing from Khoda Colony in Ghaziabad.
