New Delhi, April 19 -- In a swift and decisive operation, the Delhi Police's Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS) of Dwarka district apprehended two armed assailants wanted in connection with a recent attempt to murder in the Chhawla area.
The accused, identified as Rocky (22) and Sumit alias Koki (24), were intercepted near the Urban Extension Road early Sunday morning following specific intelligence inputs.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Kushal Pal Singh, IPS, said that the operation reflects the force's firm stance against violent crime and its commitment to public safety. He emphasized that the police acted with courage and restraint during the encounter, ensuring the accused were apprehended while preventing any harm to the public.
