New Delhi, April 29 -- In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Delhi's Trade and Taxes Department has introduced a lottery system (draw of lots) to assign postings to newly inducted GST officers and inspectors.
Calling it a significant reform, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said the move marks a new benchmark in ensuring fairness in administrative processes.
CM Gupta assured that her government is consistently adopting concrete and innovative measures to make the administrative system more transparent, accountable, and corruption-free.
