Bengaluru, Oct. 27 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today clarified that his recent visit to New Delhi was purely personal and should not be viewed through a political lens.
Speaking to reporters at the Bengaluru airport, Shivakumar said he had travelled to Delhi to offer condolences to senior Congress leader Ambika Soni, whose family member had recently passed away.
"I went to visit Ambika Soni at her residence to convey my personal condolences. It was a private visit," he said.
