New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- Delhi's Transport Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh today chaired a high-level review meeting with the Regional Manager of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) to assess bus operations and streamline services for greater commuter convenience.
The minister said bus services must be planned and streamlined so that passengers can travel comfortably and on time with reduced overcrowding.
He said that the bus timings should be revised to ensure two to three buses of the same route don't run simultaneously, and there should be a sufficient time gap between the buses.
According to the minister, rationalisation of routes and time-bound operations will not only benefit commuters but also positively impact DTC's revenues.
