New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Delhi's Minister for Environment and Forests on Wednesday said the Delhi government is set to establish new Common Biomedical Waste Treatment Facilities (CBWTFs) to strengthen biomedical waste management across the national capital.
The announcement came after Sirsa chaired a high-level meeting with senior officials from the National Productivity Council (NPC), the Environment Department, and the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC).
Officials made a detailed presentation on current and projected biomedical waste generation trends, plant specifications and the implementation roadmap.
