New Delhi, Nov. 14 -- Delhi's Cooperation Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh today said that efforts are underway to establish the capital city as a National Model of Cooperative Innovation, ensuring a strong contribution to the vision of a 'Developed India' and 'Developed Delhi'.

According to the minister, continuous meetings are being held and work is being done to strengthen Delhi's cooperative banks and thrift credit societies so they can emerge as reliable and accessible banking options for citizens.

Indraj also informed that necessary amendments will be introduced in the cooperative laws of Delhi to create an enabling and supportive environment for cooperative sector institutions.
