New Delhi, Jan. 6 -- : Delhi on Tuesday recorded cold weather conditions, with the maximum temperature in the city dropping by over 5 degrees, according to data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The officials warned that cold-weather conditions are likely on Wednesday.

The maximum temperature at Palam and Lodhi Road weather stations in Delhi dropped to 13 degC and 15.8degC respectively, departing 5.7 and 5.2 degrees below normal, recording cold day conditions for the first time in the month of January this winter season.
