Chennai, July 15 -- With assembly elections just 10 months away, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and ruling DMK president MK Stalin today asserted that the saffron project of any Delhi team would never succeed in the state when the Tamils stand united under one banner.
Likening the DMK-led secular alliance, comprising the Congress, MDMK, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), Left Parties and Muslim parties, he said "the coming together of Marxist and Ambedkarite parties is Tamil Nadu coming under a single banner.
"When Tamil Nadu is one, the saffron project of any Delhi team won't succeed", he said.
