New Delhi, Dec. 27 -- In a massive crackdown under Operation AAGHAT 3.0, the Delhi South-East Police arrested 1,306 individuals on Friday, targeting criminals, auto-lifters, illegal gamblers, and those involved in drug and liquor offenses.
The operation was conducted on Friday night to curb crime and illegal activities across the district.
During the operation, 285 individuals were arrested under various laws, including the Arms Act, Excise Act, NDPS Act, and Gambling Act. In addition, 504 people were apprehended under preventive measures, while 116 listed Bad Characters (BCs) were taken into custody. The police also arrested 10 property offenders and 5 auto-lifters, resulting in significant recoveries.
