New Delhi, Dec. 2 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday emphasised that schools, which bring thousands of children every day, must be fully prepared to handle any calamity or emergency.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event at Delhi school, Gupta said the Disaster Ready Schools Campaign is an important initiative and that the Delhi government will work with utmost diligence to implement it.
Under this campaign, Delhi schools will be strengthened for disaster readiness, with the administration providing necessary training to both students and teachers.
