New Delhi, Dec. 17 -- union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday expressed concern over Delhi's air pollution situation, stating that it is a difficult and complex issue, and a solution needs to be worked out.
Gadkari, who was speaking at an event held in the city, said that 40 per cent of the pollution is due to fossil fuels and several other factors.
He said that the situation is very dangerous and has to be resolved at any cost, adding that, it is like reducing a decade from one's lifetime.
The minister said he will do whatever he can to help resolve the problem, and it is the time to put combined efforts and find out a solution to the complex problem.
