New Delhi, Nov. 26 -- In a significant update to the Delhi Red Fort blast case, investigative agencies on Wednesday claimed to have recovered the deleted WhatsApp chats of Dr. Adil, a key accused whose arrest led them to the Faridabad terror module.
The retrieved chats revealed their desperate financial straits, repeatedly pleading for money. Investigators suspect these funds were used to finance the attack, in which a suicide bomber, Dr. Umar Nabi, exploded his i20 car, killing fifteen people and injuring over thirty-two.
