New Delhi, Jan. 8 -- Senior Delhi Police officials, led by Special Commissioner of Police (Central Zone) Ravindra Yadav, conducted an inspection of the area around Turkman Gate on Wednesday, following violent clashes over a court-ordered demolition drive to remove encroachments. The police have detained ten persons in connection with the incident.
Special Commissioner Yadav, accompanied by the District Commissioner of Police (DCP) and other officers, surveyed the site near the Faiz-e-Elahi Masjid to examine the encroached location.
