New Delhi, Jan. 22 -- On the occasion of Republic Day, to bolster security arrangements and nab terror suspects, the Delhi police will use Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based smart glasses.
These glasses will be equipped with a facial recognition system directly linked to the police criminal database, enabling on-the-spot identification of suspects or wanted criminals.
These smart glasses will scan an individual's face in crowded areas and match it with police records within seconds.
As soon as a match is found, an instant alert will be sent to the police personnel wearing the glasses, allowing for immediate action.
