Chandigarh, Nov. 17 -- The Delhi Police has summoned Al-Falah University chairman Javed Ahmad Siddiqui for questioning as investigators expand their probe into the recent blast in the capital. Officials said the summons is linked to allegations of cheating and forgery detected during scrutiny of the university's records.

The action follows the arrest of Siddiqui's brother in Hyderabad in a separate, 25-year-old financial fraud case. Agencies are verifying whether his past activities have any relevance to the Delhi blast investigation. So far, no conclusive link has been established.
