New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- The Commissioner of Delhi Police Satish Golchha on Tuesday affirmed the force's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the national capital, calling it a responsibility of 'National Importance".
Golchha, speaking at a fuction marking the Delhi Police raising day, expressed gratitude for the guidance and continuous support extended by the Ministry of Home Affairs, stating that such backing strengthens the force in effectively discharging its duties.
Highlighting achievements under the vision of a "Drug-Free India," he revealed that in 2025 alone, 6,144 kg of narcotic drugs were seized.
