New Delhi, Oct. 18 -- The Delhi Police has announced that the sale of NEERI-certified green firecrackers in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be permitted only from October 18 to October 20, 2025.
The order, issued via a circular from the Delhi Police Legal Division, mandates the formation of special police patrol teams. These teams will be stationed at designated sale locations with the primary task of verifying that every cracker sold is a certified green product with a valid QR code.
