New Delhi, Dec. 12 -- Delhi Police has executed Operation CyHawk 2.0, a sweeping, intelligence-led offensive aimed at crippling the financial backbone of cybercrime syndicates, an official said on Friday.

In a statement, the police said the upgraded operation conducted between December 10 and 11 mobilised more than 5,000 police personnel across Delhi and multiple states, including Odisha, Maharashtra and Kerala.

Building on the groundwork of CyHawk 1.0, the latest operation delivered over 200% more legal actions, 163% more detentions, and a 125% rise in FIR resolutions.

Police rounded up 7,015 individuals, with 1,146 arrested or bound down, and issued notices to 1,736 suspects, bringing the total number of legal actions to 2,882.
