New Delhi, Dec. 24 -- Two teenagers were arrested for allegedly stabbing a 22-year-old man during a dispute over cutting the line at a gurudwara in Shalimar Bagh, northwest of the city, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.

The incident occurred on Monday around 8:30 pm, when Rajeev was waiting in line to collect milk at a gurdwara in Singalpur, an official said.

The complainant stated that the accused, 18-year-olds Sumit Barman and Anuj Thakur, tried to cut the queue, which sparked a scuffle.

Amid the scuffle, Anuj allegedly restrained the victim from behind while Sumit stabbed him in the chest with a knife, police said.

Police added that the accused also attacked Rajeev's friend, Arvind, who tried to intervene, before fleeing the scene.
