New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- Sources within the Special Cell informed UNI that a multi-state operation led to the detention of eleven suspects from the "Karnataka-Bengaluru region". Most of them were later released due to lack of evidence.
A few of them are among the five terrorists arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police for plotting jihad in India, as part of a Pakistan-led pan-India 'Khilafat' terror module.
However, the sources stated that the men remain under surveillance, as they were in direct contact with the five arrested alleged terrorists via social media apps.
